Note: The student project runs concurrent to the event. Members are welcome to visit teams in their studio. Address: Girne American University, Dept. of Architecture. The studio will be open for visits: Thursday-Saturday 9:00am-12:00 and 13:00-17:00. (Students and mentors should plan to arrive on Sept 27th.)
Wednesday, 28th September: Opening of Student Project
08:30 Meet & Greet, Breakfast for university professors and invited mentors at Girne American University Cafeteria.
10:00 Kickoff of the student architectural project by Dr. Balkiz Yapicioglu and University Professors. Introduction of teams and mentors, and setup of workstations in studio. Members are welcomed.
12:00 Transfer to Old Bazaar, site tour and investigation of the surrounding neighborhood. Teams should plan to have lunch/dinner on their own for team building and brainstorming. Members are welcomed and encouraged!
17:00 Transfer back to studio. Members are welcomed.
