AIA Europe International Conference Series

AIA Europe's international conference series provides an in-depth look at the most important projects developing across Europe today. Focusing each on a different European city, the twice-yearly conferences explore the leading ways architects are working collaboratively to build better urban environments.

Over three-and-a-half days of site visits, lectures and tours, local architects, planners and government officials come together to present their city's latest projects and goals to attendees from around the globe. The consistent conference structure offers a unique overview; what we see developing in Lyon's massive Confluence project for example, (Spring Conference 2013), we can compare to the recent Hafen City project in Hamburg (Fall 2013) or the new King's Cross development in London (Fall 2014).

AIA Europe conferences animate a dynamic network of design and building professionals who all share an international perspective in practice. Conferences are open to AIA members, nonmembers and students, and US licensed architects may earn up to 18 Learning Units per conference. Join us!
