French Section Event - Herzog & De Meuron Tour Triange

Twenty visitors from the French section were hosted on June 2nd by local architects Valode & Pistre for a construction site visit of the remarkable 180-meter Tour Triangle designed by Swiss architects Herzog & de Meuron. 

Possibly the last high-rise structure which will ever be built in Paris under new zoning regulations, the project will be completed in 2027. The program includes a 4-star Radison hotel, 70,000 m2 of workspace and generous public facilities which include a panoramic rooftop, daycare and retail facilities. The design includes 70,000 m2 of green space throughout the building and public areas. The double facade system and highly efficient environmental systems are expected to achieve a 40% reduction in energy consumption relative to code requirements.
