PROJECTS
AIA Continental Europe members working globally
Professionals working on a project based in Europe. Does not require AIA membership
Students based in Europe between Fall 2023 and Spring 2025
For professional work: projects must have been completed in the past two years (no earlier than January 2023)
For student work: projects must have been completed between Fall 2023 and Spring 2025
CATEGORIES
The awards will be given in four categories: three professional and one student
DESIGN FOR CHANGE - Projects focusing on carbon footprint, ecological impact, stewardship of natural resources, and the capacity for resilience and adaptability within a changing environment.
DESIGN FOR SOCIAL IMPACT - Projects focusing on social and economic performance and the commitment to the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of all occupants.
DESIGN FOR DISCOVERY - Projects and processes demonstrating innovation and applying lessons learned to advance the exploration of artistry, cultural relevance, and design paradigms.
STUDENT DESIGN AWARD - Student work completed in the academic environment. There will be a €500 prize for the Student Design Award winner.
Submission Requirements
The following details should be included in a single PDF file, not exceeding 10MB
Digital project portfolio (maximum of 10 pages, including project description images and plans)
Basic project information: project name, location, architect of record
Drawings and images
Photos
Project team credit
This file should then be attached to the SUBMISSION FORMS, found HERE
Note: Submitted items may be used in future AIA Continental Europe publications.
Submission Costs
Submissions for the three professional categories is €50.00 EUR per project.

There is no cost for the Student Category
