The AIA Europe Scholarship is a 4,000 Euro cash stipend awarded competitively to a graduate student in architecture from the United States, for study at an accredited architecture program in Continental Europe. A jury of AIA Europe Board Members will select a student whose work and ambitions show promise, in a European context.

The AIA Europe Scholarship program was launched in 2015 with the purpose of promoting awareness of Europe and European architecture to American architecture students, and to share the chapter’s unique resources with them.

For more than twenty years, AIA Europe has taught AIA architects from around the world about architecture and urbanism in Europe through their twice-yearly conferences, each held in and about a different European city. The recipients of The AIA Europe Scholarship shall attend one AIA Europe International Conference to present their research in lecture format. Conference registration fees are paid by AIA Europe.
